Required Abstract Structure
Clearly describe the problem, evidence gap or question addressed, and state the primary objective.
Describe study design, eligibility criteria, information sources, search/data-collection methods, appraisal methods and approach to synthesis. For evidence syntheses, mention review type, registration, databases searched, last search date and methods to assess certainty/risk of bias.
Present principal findings clearly and objectively, with numerical results and confidence intervals where appropriate. Avoid “results will be presented” โ ongoing work should use the protocol/ongoing-project category.
Provide conclusions directly supported by the results, and explain relevance for evidence users, healthcare professionals, policymakers, patients or decision-makers.

Formatting Requirements
- Write abbreviations in full the first time they are used
- Avoid unnecessary abbreviations
- Use generic names, not commercial/brand names
- Do not include references unless specifically requested
- Refer clearly to uploaded tables/figures (e.g. “Table 1”)
- Do not include identifiable participant information
- Do not include academic titles (Prof./Dr.) in author fields
- Confirm all authors have approved the abstract
- Disclose funding sources and conflicts of interest
- Max 1 table/figure/graph โ PNG, JPG or PDF only

Presentation Preferences
During submission, authors may indicate their preferred format: Oral Presentation, Poster Presentation, or Either. The Scientific Committee will make the final decision based on abstract quality, reviewer recommendations, available programme space and thematic balance.
- Registration for the Conclave is not required before submitting an abstract
- Abstracts cannot ordinarily be edited after final submission
- Presenting authors must register by 30 November 2026 to confirm their place
- Presenting author must attend in person and present at the scheduled time
- Accepted abstracts may be published in the abstract book, website and social media
- Minor copy-editing may be done; scientific meaning changes require author consultation
